Manmarziyaan: Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal's Film to Premiere at This Prestigious International Film Festival Before Releasing in India
The movie will have its premiere at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2018.
Manmarziyan, the upcoming film by Anurag Kashyap, is quite special for the fact that it marks the comeback of Abhishek Bachchan after a gap of two years. He last appeared in the multi-starrer Housefull 4, that came out in 2016. Manmarziyan has him play a Sikh for the first time, and it is also the first time he is working with Kashyap. The movie also stars the in-form Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu. Considering the cast and the director involved, we are quite curious to know what this love triangle is all about.
And to add more excitement to our curiosity, it has been recently revealed that the movie will have its premiere at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2018. Going under the title Husband Material (hmmm...), the movie is a part of the slate of movies to be screened under Galas 2018. It finds itself in the company of Academy Award winner Damian Chazelle's First Man, Steven McQueen's Widows, Mélanie Laurent's Galveston among others and is the only Indian movie to be screened at TIFF 2018.

Meanwhile Nandita Das' Manto, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is also premiering at TIFF 2018 in the Special Presentations 2018.
This is quite a great achievement for Indian cinema to get such spots in the international fest. So we wish the entire team of Manmarziyan and Manto all the very best!
Manmarziyan has been produced by Phantom Films and Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions. The movie is releasing here on September 21, clashing with Shahid Kapoor's Batti Gul Meter Chalu.
