She played the role of Rajeshwari “Rajjo” Pathak, daughter of a freedom fighter. She was labelled as ‘a sensitive performer’ by the critics.

Bombay

Manisha Koirala made her Kollywood debut in 1995 with Bombay, a Mani Ratnam directorial. She took up the role on the insistence of her buddy, a National Film Award-winning cinematographer, Ashok Mehta. And once again this film, in which she was paired opposite Arvind Swami, proved to be a milestone in her career.

Khamoshi: The Musical
