The song essentially describes the onset of war in the film. Kangana's character vows to defeat British and she has the support of all her loyalists. Her journey from sacrificing all her materialistic wealth to getting her women army ready and training them for an upcoming battle is what forms the crux of this song. Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika was embroiled in controversies since the day one.
