Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi's buzz at the box office has taken a slight dent after that fabulous weekend. However, the movie is trending big time on social media thanks to Krish, one of the directors of the film, went all out against the other director, Kangana Ranaut. The Telugu film-maker, who was supposed to solely helm the project, accused Kangana of highjacking the film. He revealed that most of the film was exactly what he had shot, and Kangana only added a couple of scenes, while reducing the length of her co-stars' roles. Kangana has been silent over these accusations till now, but her most vocal and ardent supporter, her elder sister Rangoli Chandel is taking the fight on her behalf. Taking to Twitter, Rangoli accused Krish of being a liar and an opportunist. She posted WhatsApp messages that Kangana had shared with her where she had 'invited' Krish for the December screening of ManikarnikaBefore Krish, This Director Had Accused Kangana Ranaut of Hijacking Manikarnika From Him!

In those WhatsApp messages, Kangana is trying to convince Krish that it was Zee Studios who took the call on reshooting the film with Kangana as the director. And then in further tweets, Rangoli says that this controversy is disturbing her sister, who has sent these messages to her from Germany.

In retaliation, Krish started posting WhatsApp messages on the team that worked with him on the original edit. He wants to prove that these members are aware of the fact that most of Manikarnika's final edit is what he had shot. A couple of those tweets have been posted below -

He also accused both Kangana and Rangoli of being liars and fabricating what really transpired.

Looks like this is one feud that is never going to end! Bollywood, meanwhile, is silently watching this tamasha with Pooja Bhatt, writer Apurva Asrani and director Bejoy Nambiar coming out in support of Krish. CBFC chairperson Prasoon Joshi, who wrote the dialogues for Manikarnika, claims that it was Kangana who elevated the film.
