Malang also stars Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu in the lead. This is the second time that Aditya Roy Kapur has teamed up with filmmaker Mohit Suri, after Aashiqui 2. Talking about this film Mohit Suri earlier said in a statement, “With Malang, I am essentially returning to genre I enjoy the most. It will be intense, edgy and mad. I hope Malang is as thrilling and exciting an experience for the audience to see as much as it has already been for me.” Malang, produced under the banners of Luv Films and T-Series, is all set to be released in February 2020.
