Malaal: Navya Naveli Nanda, Ishaan Khatter and Others Attend Special Screening of Meezaan Jaffrey-Sharmin Segal Starrer! View Pics

Meezaan Jaffrey and Sharmin Segal are making their Bollywood debut with Mangesh Hadawale directorial Malaal. A special screening of the film (which is releasing on July 5) was held last evening, for which leading B-town stars were spotted.

Bollywood movie buffs will get to see two new faces on the silver screens tomorrow – Meezaan Jaffrey and Sharmin Segal. Yes, Javed Jaffrey’s son and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece are making their Bollywood debut with Malaal, which will release tomorrow (July 5). Be it the poster, teaser, trailer or the songs, the young debutantes have left cinephiles impressed already. A special screening of Malaal was held last evening for which Ishaan Khatter, Navya Naveli Nanda, Bhumi Pednekar, and many other celebs were seen in attendance. Zara Suno Song from Malaal: Meezaan Jaffrey and Sharmin Segal's Chemistry is the Highlight in This Romantic Ballad.

Malaal is directed by Mangesh Hadawale and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain and Krishan Kumar under the banner of Bhansali Productions and T-Series. It is a remake of the 2004 Tamil-language film 7G Rainbow Colony, starring Ravi Krishna and Sonia Agarwal as the lead pair. Coming back to the special screening of Malaal, the celebs who were spotted includes Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Javed Akhtar – Shabana Azmi, Poonam Dhillon, David Dhawan, Mukesh Bhatt, Ravi Bhel, and many others. Malaal also features Sameer Dharmadhikari in key role. He would be portraying the role of a politician. The film revolves around Astha and Shiva, who are from different backgrounds, living in a Mumbai chawl. The film’s trailer did drop few hints about the film’s plot. However, moviegoers are eagerly waiting to watch it on the big screens. Malaal was earlier scheduled to hit the big screens on June 28, but it was later postponed to July 5.
