Ajay Devgn and Keerthy Suresh starrer sports drama, Maidaan, has finally gone on floors. The film based on the life of the renowned football coach Syed Abdul Rahim is much-awaited by the fans. The renowned coach played an instrumental role in India’s victory in the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. On the poster, we can see a brightly lit football stadium and a soiled football. The poster also calls it the golden era of the sport. It will be interesting to see how the actor steps into the shoes of the renowned football coach. Check out the picture below.

Meanwhile, south actress Keerthy is super excited to be a part of her first Bollywood film. Speaking of her debut here, she told TOI, "I am elated and honoured to be a part of such a great story. This is a film that will make every Indian proud. I believe this is a story that doesn’t belong to any specific region or language of India but is a great Indian story that the world should know." The film is directed by Amit Sharma, who directed Ayushmann Khurrana's Badhaai Ho and bankrolled by Boney Kapoor.
