Madhuri Dixit is all praises for her Kalank choreographer Saroj Khan, says 'Tabahi' song belonged to her
Madhuri Dixit, who is prepping for her next big release Kalank, stated her experience of working with the legendary choreographer Saroj Khan.
Bollywood famous legendary choreographer Saroj Khan recently claimed that she is out of work and is currently giving dance lessons to young actresses. The choreographer even lashed out at big Bollywood names and complained that they no longer come to her aid or provide her with work. When Salman Khan came to know about the situation, he immediately offered help and told her to work with him. Saroj has given many B-town actresses the dancing fame that they have become today, including Madhuri Dixit, Sushmita Sen, Sridevi among others. Madhuri, who is prepping for her next big release Kalank, stated her experience of working with the legendary choreographer. In an interview with Hindi Rush, Madhuri talked about the recent reports of Saroj Khan being out of work. When the actress was probed about her experience of working again with Saroj in Kalank, she was all praises for the choreographer. She said, “t is all teamwork and we are all connected. Saroj Ji is very talented and when this song from Kalank came in, I thought No one can do it better than her. It is because she has an element that no one has and I know about it. That is why Saroj Ji was picked to choreograph Tabahi from Kalank and not because she has no work. Saroj Ji deserved this song.” Prabhudeva REPLACED Saroj Khan as the Choreographer in Thugs of Hindostan and the Reason is Katrina Kaif.
Madhuri will be seen portraying the role of Begum Bahar in Kalank. The big budget project also stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. Helmed by Abhishek Verman and bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Kalank is slated to hit the theatres on April 17.
