Madhuri Dixit Ignores Jacqueline Fernandez's Messages After Ek Do Teen Song Remake Mishap?
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is very much supportive of his Race 3 co-star who praised her version of Ek Do Teen!
Jacqueline Fernandez is right now at the receiving end of all the backlash for the remake of classic song Ek Do Teen. The Srilankan beauty danced on the Saroj Khan number in Baaghi 2 but the fans are totally disappointed with even with the thought of attempting to revamp the iconic Madhuri Dixit song from Tezaab. Now, according to DNA, the dhak dhak girl of Bollywood too is not really happy with the version. The reports suggest that Jacqueline tried to contact the original star of the song for her feedback. However, she did not get any reply in return!
It won’t be surprising if B-town’s original Mohini is indeed unhappy with this version as why would anyone want to ruin the memories of something that is so special to the heart? This is undoubtedly the dancer-actress’ one of the most cherished performances, all the credit goes to her innocence and expressions in the song. These two things are totally missing from the new version despite the unnecessary oomph quotient.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is very much supportive of his Race 3 co-star. Praising her version of Ek Do Teen, he tweeted, “Loved d song, Jackie has done full justice 2 d legendary moves of Saroj khan difficult to match Madhuri. Nice 2 see Varun n Jackie to our songs makes us proud n keeps d songs alive n fans listening, dancing n having a blast. Makes me proud. Enjoy Karo!”
On the other hand, Tezaab director N Chandra and choreographer Saroj Khan are pretty upset with Baaghi 2 makers, reports Quint. Chandra was quoted saying, “Sarojji told me that the makers of Baaghi 2 were doing a new version of Ek Do Teen. She said she will take legal action against it.” Well, clearly, things are not going well for the makers of the action flick as they had planned!
