Luka Chuppi Box Office Collection Day 7: Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon's Rom-Com Ends Week 1 on a Good Note, Earns Rs 53.70 Crore

Laxman Utekar's directorial venture Luka Chuppi has finished a week in theatres and the film has managed to collect a good amount of moolah till now. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the lead, the romantic drama arrived in cinema halls last week and got cash registers ringing from day 1 itself. The film also became the biggest opener for Kartik who has been tasting success at the box office lately. And now that Luka Chuppi has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark, the film has turned out to be Kartik's highest week 1 grosser to date. Luka Chuppi Box Office Collection Day 6: Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon Starrer Is Rock Steady at the Ticket Windows, Earns Rs 49.67 Crore.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to microblogging site Twitter a while back and revealed the updated figures of the film. He tweeted, "#LukaChuppi has excellent Week 1... Controlled costing ensures a HIT status... Trending in Week 2 pivotal, since it faces new films and [slightly] reduced screens... Fri 8.01 cr, Sat 10.08 cr, Sun 14.04 cr, Mon 7.90 cr, Tue 5.04 cr, Wed 4.60 cr, Thu 4.03 cr. Total: ₹ 53.70 cr.

Further, trade portal Boxofficeindia.com stated, "The collections on Thursday were around 50% of the first day which is a solid trend. The first week collections were less than films in the similar zone like Badhaai Ho and Stree despite a better opening day which means the film is unlikely to break out like those films but a HIT film it is for sure."

Luka Chuppi, which is Kartik and Kriti's first film together, also stars Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Vinay Pathak in important roles. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film released alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Sonchiriya. While the dacoit drama has disappointed with its box office performance, Kartik and Kriti's film is currently enjoying a good run.
