Lucky Ali on Cancer Rumors: 'I’m Totally Fine, Sitting in the Himalayas'

Lucky Ali has been in away from the limelight for quite some years now. However, his indie music that created the craze in the 90s, is still as fresh as a daisy in the hearts of the fans. Recently, he posted a scary, cryptic tweet that mentioned ‘chemotherapy’ in it. The fans who are still coping with the news of actress Sonali Bendre’s high-grade cancer news, got worried for the singer. The speculations went rife that “Aa Bhi Ja” singer too is suffering from cancer but worry not, that’s not the case! Lucky recently revealed that it is his friend who expired due to cancer and that he is completely ‘fine’ in the Himalayas!
As reported in TOI, the 59-year-old singer-actor said, “I didn’t write that message to freak people out. My friend died of the disease and I wanted to warn people against chemotherapy. I’m totally fine, sitting in the Himalayas.”
It all started when Ali posted a tweet saying, ‘Dear Chemo therapy you should not be an option..ever...’ Now that we know that he is hale and hearty, we hope that his friend’s family finds strength to fight the large void in their lives.
Earlier, even actor Irrfan Khan shared the heart-wrenching news of being diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer. He is currently in US to take the treatment on the same and has all the love and prayers from fans and film fraternity.
