The actress went to visit veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who is undergoing surgery in New York for an unspecified illness. While son Ranbir and wife Neetu Singh are currently with the veteran actor at this crucial time, Alia, who busy with the shoot of Abhishek Varman's Kalank, too took some time off from work to be there for Ranbir and his family. Alia is undoubtedly the best girlfriend one could have. Several pictures of Alia and Ranbir, where they are seen taking strolls together on the streets of New York, have been doing the rounds on social media since past few days. Today, we got our hands on yet another picture of Ranbir and Alia, where the couple is seen shopping at an upscale boutique (which is frequently visited by Hollywood celebrities) in New York. While the actors didn't post a picture on their respective Instagram handles, the store's official Instagram page has shared an adorable picture of Ranbir and Alia. The two look just too cute together.

Ranbir Kapoor, who is spending some quality time with family in NYC, is expected to return to Mumbai soon as the actor's sister will take his place to be at their father's side. Also, as soon as the actor returns to the bay, he will be resuming shooting for Brahmastra in Mumbai. Speaking of Brahmastra, for the first time ever, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen sharing screen space in the film Brahmastra.
Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the supernatural love story Brahmastra is slated to release on August 15, 2019. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt's Kalank, which is helmed by Abhishek Varman, is slated to release on April 19, 2019. Kalank also stars Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles.
