Life in a Metro Sequel Cast Gets Bigger, Saif Ali Khan to Join Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor?
The movie which is one of the most cherished ones will be made in Dharma-way and that makes us curious about the treatment given to it.
The year 2007, gave us one of the most iconic and underrated movies, 'Life in a Metro'. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film had a stellar star cast of Sharman Joshi, Kangana Ranaut, Shiney Ahuja, Shilpa Shetty, Dharmendra, Kay Kay Menon, Nafisa Ali, Konkona Sen and Irrfan Khan. Now, Dharma Productions is all set to roll out a sequel, of course without the original star cast. The new one will reportedly have Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and the latest we hear is Saif Ali Khan too.
However, DNA further mentions that the Begum and the Nawab of Bollywood will not share the screen space. So, don't search for real-life, reel-life #couplegoals at least in this film. If you remember the original flick, it had different relationship tales who cross each other's paths in some way or the other. In the sequel, neither Kareena-Saif nor Arjun will be seen as paired opposite each other.
The movie which is one of the most cherished ones will be made the Karan Johar way and that makes us curious about the treatment given to it. Kareena who has been on the spree of selecting selective scripts will be next seen in two another Dharma films. The films are 'Good News' and 'Takht'.
Meanwhile, Saif has bounced back to be everyone's favourite with Netflix's Sacred Games. The series reached right into everyone's heart and the demand for the second season is already up. Saif's 'Sartaj Singh' is now all set to be back with Sacred Games 2. Meanwhile, Arjun will be seen in flicks like 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' and 'Namastey England', both opposite Parineeti Chopra.
Well, we totally love the fact that these stars are getting roped in for the sequel. However, it is only fair to pine for the original cast when it comes to installments and we will always. Let us see how the cast shapes up and who decides to helm it this time. We hope it is Basu yet again, fingers crossed!
