Laxmmi Bomb: This Actor Who Shared Screen Space with Kareena Kapoor Khan in Jab We Met Will Play the Antagonist in Akshay Kumar’s Film

This actor shared screen space with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the rom-com, Jab We Met, which released in 2007. This Bollywood actor who is widely known for his performance in the Imtiaz Ali directorial, will now play the role of a villain in Laxmmi Bomb.

Laxmmi Bomb has been in trouble even before its shooting started. Starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead, the upcoming flick is a remake of the Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana. The original and this Hindi version as well will be helmed by Raghava Lawrence. According to reports, there is another actor who has joined the cast of Laxmmi Bomb. This actor shared screen space with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the rom-com, Jab We Met, which released in 2007. This Bollywood actor who is widely known for his performance in the Imtiaz Ali directorial, will now play the antagonist in Laxmmi Bomb. The actor who is all set to play the negative avatar in Laxmmi Bomb is the one who essayed the role of Kareena Kapoor Khan aka Geet Dhillon’s boyfriend in Jab We Met, reports Mirror. It is none other than Tarun Arora. He played the character Anshuman, the one who rejects Geet and comes back, only to get rejected himself. About Tarun’s character in Laxmmi Bomb a source revealed to the tabloid, “Like in the original, the Hindi villain is also a corrupt MLA, and Raghava, who has worked with Tarun in Kanchana 3, which released in April this year, believes that he is apt for the part. His new avatar is very different from his Jab We Met character. Laxmmi Bomb had topped the headlines when the film’s director Raghava Lawrence decided to step down. It happened after the makers released the first poster of the film without his knowledge and many such things. But later he decided to return to the director’s chair. He tweeted, “Hi Dear Friends and Fans...! As you wished I would like to let you know that I am back on board as a director of #LaxmmiBomb with @akshaykumar”.
