Earlier in the day, Akshay Kumar stunned his fans by releasing the first look and poster of his next, Laxmmi Bomb. The horror comedy that's a Hindi adaptation of Raghava Lawrence's Kanchana is all set for June 5, 2020 release but the latest development may slightly delay this big project. Raghava who was appointed as the director of this Hindi remake has decided to step down from his directorial duties and his decision doesn't seem unwarranted. Lawrence took to his Twitter account to inform his followers about the update and highlight the issues he had with the Laxmmi Bomb makers. Laxmmi Bomb First Look Poster: Akshay Kumar’s Kohl-Eyed Look Raises Eyebrows, Raghava Lawrence’s Film Gets a Release Date – See Pic.

Raghava stated that he's highly disappointed with the way the makers of Akshay's next have treated him. The director was unaware of the producer's decision to release the film's first poster today and he wasn't even consulted about it. As a creative person, he's not really happy with the film' first look and feels his self-respect was compromised. As a director, his inputs were equally vital and since the producers didn't really honour it, he felt stepping aside would be the best decision. Did Akshay Kumar Avoid a Box Office Clash With Salman Khan by Bringing Laxmmi Bomb on June 5, 2020?

However, Raghava has no qualms with Akshay Kumar and he wishes him all the luck with this horror comedy. Though the director had rights to withdraw his own script, he won't go ahead with this harsh step. Raghava immensely respects the Khiladi of Bollywood and he'll willingly hand over the script to him in the next couple of days. This is certainly very sad and we hope some miracle brings back their association.
