Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and R Madhavan starrer Laxmmi Bomb is already in a controversy even before it has started its journey. The director, Raghava Lawrence, who also directed the original film-Kanchana, left the project. He cited the reason as 'he got disrespected' by the producers. However, now he has released a statement saying he might return to the project on the request of Akshay Kumar and the fans. In a long note posted by him on Twitter, he told, "Post my tweet both Akshay Kumar Sir fans and my fans have been requesting me to do this film. I'm overwhelmed with their genuine love. But trust me, I'm equally upset for the past one week as you are."  He also wrote about how he had invested in the pre-production work of the film and was eager to be a part of it.

Further, he added that if the makers are willing to retain his 'self-respect', he will join the project again." "It's completely in their hands now, if I'm given proper self-respect for my job, then I'll think about it. Let's see after the meeting," said the director. Check out the full post below.

Raghava Lawrence's Note To All the 'Concerned' Fans

The fans were happy to see the ray of hope from the director's side. They commented below the tweet saying that he must give a second chance to the producers, sort the differences and get back on the film's set. Now that the Khiladi Kumar and the fans, both are keen on having him on board, there might be a strong possibility of him wearing the director's hat again.
