Ekta took to social media to share the new poster of Laila Majnu where the lead actors are seen cosying up in the rains. Bollywood has been obsessed with the idea of romancing in the rains and snow since forever and that's exactly what this new poster of the film is all about. How convincing will their love story be, though? We will have to wait and watch.

The trailer of Laila Majnu will be releasing on July 25 i.e. tomorrow, reads the new poster. Produced by these two stalwarts, we have a new take on the legend that is directed by Imtiaz's younger brother, Sajid Ali. The movie stars Tripti Dimri, Mir Sarwar and Avinash Tiwary in important roles. We had already seen the teaser of the film, which looked beautiful and poignant.

In a recent interview to Bombay Times, Ekta Kapoor had spoken about her interest in the project. She had said, “I’m honoured to creatively collaborate with Imtiaz and see his vision through. Moreover, this story has given us a chance to launch new talent. We are wrapping up the shoot fast. I’m excited to retell this classic love story with a fresh spin.”
