Not just on the roads, Mumbai Police is also very active on social media and Twitter is a proof of the same. There have been various instances where Mumbai Police has called out those who have violated the traffic rules be it a celebrity or common man. And this time, it was Kunal Kemmu who came under their radar. However, there's a twist. It was Kunal who brought to Mumbai Police's notice that he rode the bike without a helmet.
Acknowledging his mistake, the actor took to Twitter to apologize immediately and confessed that he was embarrassed after seeing the pictures circulating online. “I have seen this picture out there and honestly it’s very embarrassing given I love bikes and ride regularly and always with a helmet and some more gear but whether it’s a long ride or just next door a helmet should always be worn. apologies I don’t want to set the wrong example!,” Kunal tweeted.

Not a lot of people confess their mistakes but Kunal honestly admitted his. So the least the Mumbai Police could was to accept the apology and respond in a polite yet assertive manner. But instead, here's what Mumbai Police replied to Kunal saying. “@kunalkemmu You love bikes, we love every citizen’s safety. And we wish a regret could avert mishaps! Hope next time the realisation won’t be an afterthought! An e - challan has been dispatched.”

Now doesn't that come across as simply rude? Hell yeah!
However, the actor later accepted his mistake saying. “Agreed and accepted."
According to NDTV, the fine amounts to Rs 500 and has been dispatched on March 21.
Agreed and and accepted🙏

If you remember, last year it was Varun Dhawan who was called out for breaking traffic rules by the Mumbai Police on social media.
As for Kunal, we think he was gracious enough to accept his mistake!
