Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan's Luka Chuppi to Release on March 1, 2019

Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan's first movie together Luka Chuppi has got a release date. The film, directed by Laxman Utekar will hit the silver screens on March 1, 2019. Kriti took to social media to share the first official poster of the movie and also the release date of the same. "Ab no more hide and seek!! Producer of Luka Chuppi, Dinesh Vijan was earlier quoted by Mumbai Mirror saying, "Kartik plays the star reporter of a local TV channel in Mathura. We had toyed with the title Mathura Live before settling for a game of hide-and-seek. While Kartik is the quintessential good boy every girl wants to take home to mamma, Kriti represents today’s youth who advocate gender equality and have their own ideology. The dialogues have a touch of the local dialect and being from the region, both are familiar with the setting and the lingo. Luka Chuppi also stars Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi. Producer Dinesh Vijan said Tripathi has an "endearing and ridiculous sense of humour" which was perfect for the fim. "In Luka Chuppi he plays an estate agent from Mathura who owns an agency called Baby Doll, which is right opposite a sari shop because he is a bachelor looking for his life partner," Vijan added. Tripathi is reuniting with his on-screen daughter from Bareilly Ki Barfi", Kriti, and said he shares a great bond with the actor.
