Kizie Aur Manny or the Fault in Our Stars? Twitterati Longs for the Original Title
The movie introduces to us a relatively new star on the block in the form of actress Sanjana Sanghi.
Bollywood needs to get accustomed to getting trolled if they are hell-bent on 'adapting' the original iconic movies. Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi's hindi adaptation of extremely popular Hollywood movie 'The Fault in our Stars' has been renamed. The Mukesh Chhabra directorial will be called as 'Kizie Aur Manny' and the fans don't seem much thrilled about the title. The original movie was based on the novel with the same name. Since the title has made a special place in the hearts of the fans, this one is getting bashed on social media.
It is an unsaid rule that whenever you remake a film, the crux or the most-loved part of the same cannot be tampered with. The phrase 'fault in our stars' was relatable in many ways for the fans and now suddenly shifting to something like these 'weird' names has not gone well with the Twitterati. Check out a few tweets!
The movie introduces to us a relatively new star on the block in the form of actress Sanjana Sanghi. We have already seen her in hit movies like 'Rockstar', 'Hindi Medium' and 'Fukrey 2' but in short roles. This will be her first big movie as a lead actress and high hopes are pinned on her. However, with the kind of reactions the title is getting and the expectations pasted on the makers, she might have to succumb to the pressure similar to that of any other debutante. Well, the journey has started so do let us know your take on the same in the comments section below.
