Kizie Aur Manny First Look: Rajinikanth Plays a Major Presence in the Poster of Sushant Singh Rajput-Sanjana Sanghi's The Fault In Our Stars Remake
Kizie Aur Manny starts production from June 9.
Bollywood looks to be paying tribute to superstar-politician Rajinikanth this year through their first look posters. Earlier we had seen Anil Kapoor wearing Rajinikanth's Chitti mask in the poster of Fanney Khan. Now we have the first look poster of the much awaited The Fault In Our Stars remake that also has the protagonist, played by Sushant Singh Rajput, wear a Rajinikanth mask (this time his look from Kabali). BTW the movie has also got a title, Kizie Aur Manny.
The poster has the leads, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi, sitting on the top of a bus, going somewhere. Since the leads are shown suffering from cancer, there is a radiation cylinder next to the lead. The poster avoids showing their faces (because that's mostly how the first look of any Bollywood movie works for some reason). Kizie Aur Manny is the first lead role for Sanjana Sanghi who was earlier seen in a cameo in Hindi Medium, where she played a younger Saba Qamar. The movie is an official adaptation of the popular Hollywood movie, that starred Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, which is also based on a book by the same name, written by John Green. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra is making his directorial debut with the movie, while AR Rahman is scoring the music. Kizie Aur Manny starts production from June 9.
