Kick starring Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui was a remake of the 2009 Telugu film of the same name. This Sajid Nadiadwala directorial was released on Eid 2014 and was a blockbuster. When fans were eagerly waiting to know what would be bhai’s next Eid special release, Salman shared a cryptic tweet, and dropped hints on Kick 2. And then the buzz was strong that Kick 2 is going on floors soon and it would be released on Eid 2020. However, director-producer Sajid Nadiadwala has confirmed that Kick 2 is not releasing on Eid 2020.

We know after reading this many fans of Salman Khan must be heartbroken. In an interview to SpotBoyE Sajid Nadiadwala stated, “Salman and I did talk about it if we could bring it to the theatres by Eid 2020, but decided against it. I still need to complete writing it and I want to do it extremely well.” In a press interaction on August 31 which took place in Mumbai Nadiadwala also mentioned, “I had gone to his place and he asked me, how much are you ready (to start the film). I said I have written one draft (of the script) and need at least three to six months to re-write the draft. So, I will be ready by Eid with the script,” reports IANS.

We are sure there would be some other surprise in store for all Salman Khan fans. Besides this, Salman Khan’s film Dabangg 3 is scheduled to be released during this Christmas. He’s all set to return on the big screens as Chulbul Pandey. Stay tuned for more updates!
