Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's Kabir Singh has been the topic of debate for the longest of time now. The movie sure was a blockbuster with amazing songs in it. However, the controversial, misogynist and sexist scenes in it has made the fraternity, critics and the fans question certain scenes. After Shahid and director Sandeep Reddy gave their justifications regarding the same whenever, now it is Kiara's turn to opine on the matter. In a recent interview, she gave mixed response to the whole controversy. But she also admitted to being uncomfortable about some scenes. In a chat with HT, she said, "Personally, I may not agree with certain scenes and they may make me uncomfortable. But those things were there to also make you uncomfortable as his character [Kabir Singh] was flawed. I didn't look at him like a hero."

She further added, "It's good that it was debated upon and I leave it at that. I looked at it as a film and a fictional story, wherein nobody is telling you to be like any of them. I have moved on now." Looks like the problematic execution of some scenes have followed the cast to the sets of the next films as well! Earlier, during a round table chat held by Film Companion, South actress Parvathy slammed Arjun Reddy and it's Hindi remake which is Kabir Singh. She pointed out the major flaws and discussed the effect of glorification. As of the lead stars of Kabir Singh are concerned, Shahid will be next seen in Jersey remake and Kiara will be seen in Good Newwz.
