Akshay Kumar-Parineeti Chopra's film, Kesari is all set to hit the screens. The fans are very much eager to watch the new pair as well as the story of bravery of 21 Sikh soldiers in this film based on the Battle of Saragarhi. As the trailer hit the internet, the fans were mighty impressed with it. However, many pointed out that Parineeti was hardly seen in the video. During a recent interview, the Ishaqzaade actress revealed her exact role in the film and you will be startled to know that she plays Akki's deceased wife. When asked about her role, she said, "The story is about the battle, nothing before this or after that. It is about this Sikh guy who meets a sardarni. The film is about two days, today when I am discussing that this is gonna happen, the planning, and tomorrow the actual battle. So Kesari is just spread over two days. Whenever he is in an emotional point in his decision making or anything, then she comes into his life. I used to be his wife who died. And then he always remembers the conversations he used to have with me or whatever. But like I said, the story is about these 21 soldiers and I just wanted to be a part of it."

She also joked that she was so excited to be a part of this film that she would even be happy to play the role of a 'tree' in the background! Well, Parineeti has spilled some beans already and this makes us curious about the film even more.
