Sridevi's darling daughter, Janhvi Kapoor had quite a starry debut beside Ishaan Khatter in Karan Johar's Dhadak. The movie was well acclaimed the debutante is since then busy signing a list of future movies. However, the year of 2018, saw many new faces enter the B-town industry and this includes Sara Ali Khan, Radhika Madan and others. It was rumoured that K Jo had offered the remake of Dhadak to Sara but she declined it eventually and signed Kedarnath instead. However, she was lucky enough to witness two releases in the same month. Kedarnath was followed by Ranveer Singh's Simmba and that earned Sara her first Rs 200 crore movie. And while she had a better scope in Kedarnath than Simmba to flaunt her acting skills, Janhvi would pick the latter as her debut if given a choice. In the recent episode of Feet up with the Stars when host Anaita Adajania asked Ms Kapoor to choose between Kedarnath and Simmba as her debut movie, Janhvi picked the Rohit Shetty directorial. Reason? It's simply 'cos she's obsessed with that 'Aankh Maarey' song. And we think it's a fair choice. Coming to Janhvi's upcoming filmography, she has Karan Johar's multi-starrer, Takht, a biopic on IAF pilot, Gunjan Saxena and later Rooh-Afza, a horror comedy with Rajkummar Rao. The star kid is stepping on all the right stones and making some wise decisions. Let's hope we get an opportunity to see her collaborate with Sara for a project in the near future.
