After getting embroiled in quite a few controversies, Sara Ali Khan's debut film Kedarnath finally released on December 7 and got off to a decent start. Though the film didn't appeal to the critics, Kedarnath still managed to fare well at the ticket windows. In fact, the pilgrim love story which also stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead is going rock solid even in its second week. According to a report in trade portal BoxOfficeIndia.com, Abhishek Kapoor's directorial venture has raked in Rs 57.56 crore till now at the domestic box office. If the film continues its good run at the BO then Kedarnath will easily surpass the Rs 60 crore mark in the next few days. Kedarnath Box Office Collection: Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput's Film Rakes in Rs 54 Crore.

The BoxOfficeIndia.com report further stated that Sara's film is expected to collect Rs 18.50 crore net by the end of its second week. If it does then it means Kedarnath would have a better second-week collection than films like Veere Di Wedding, Dhadak and Pad Man.

As for the lifetime collection, it would be impressive if Sara and Sushant starrer manages to earn something around Rs 70 crore. Anyway, with Kedarnath faring unexpectedly well at the box office and Sara receiving rave reviews for her performance, all eyes are now on her second release which is Simmba. Co-starring Ranveer, the action drama directed by Rohit Shetty will hit the theatres on December 28. Will Sara impress the audience once again with her acting chops?
