Kedarnath Box Office Collection Day 3: Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput Starrer Witnesses Growth, Earns Rs 27.75 Crore

Sara Ali Khan’s debut film Kedarnath is going steady at the box office despite receiving mixed reviews. Co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput, the pilgrim love story released on December 7 and got off to a decent start by minting Rs 7.25 crore on the opening day. On day 2, the film witnessed an upward trend in the collections and ended up making Rs 9.75 crore, bringing its two-day collection to Rs 17 crore in India. On day 3, Kedarnath continued its good business at the ticket windows and raked in Rs 10.75 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce the first-weekend collection of the film. He wrote, ‘#Kedarnath has a good weekend, witnessing substantial growth on Day 2 [34.48%], but limited growth on Day 3 [10.26%]... Sustaining well from Mon to Thu is pivotal... With Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film Zero arriving in theatres on December 21, Sara and Sushant starrer has 10 more days to earn as much money as it can before facing stiff competition from King Khan at the BO.

And though the film has done a good business in its first weekend despite not-so-great response from the critics, will Kedarnath continue to pull in the crowds at the cinema halls?
