Kedarnath: Abhishek Kapoor Drags Sara Ali Khan to Court Over Dispute in Date Issues

Trouble just doesn't seem to end for Sara Ali Khan! It has now been reported that Sara has been dragged to Court by Abhishek Kapoor who is directing Kedarnath, citing dispute over date issues. According to a report in Times of India, the producer, said in its complaint that in 2017 it had undertaken production of the film, Kedarnath which is directed by Abhishek Kapoor. Sara agreed to be the female lead in the film as she signed an agreement made last September.

Now, the plea in court is that though she had agreed to be available for the shoot all throughout, when informed last month that the shoot would continue through May till July 5, her agent said Sara would not be available in June since she has to go for another film, which according to the suit is a "breach" of the agreement.

Now Abhishek Kapoor wants the Court to intervene to let Sara know that she cannot start shooting for another film (Simmba), until she finishes work on her debut film, Kedarnath. Not just that, he has also asked the HC to ask Sara to pay Rs 5 crore for damages. Ouch! No wonder Sara and Saif were spotted outside Abhishek Kapoor's office two days back. Maybe Saif, being the protective father that he is, was trying to pacify things between them.

Kedarnath, a pilgrimage love story has Sara and Sushant Singh Rajput in lead roles. The film was earlier in the news for Abhishek Kapoor and KriArj's Prernaa Arora's fallout. Keeping in mind the current situation, the future looks bleak for Kedarnath.
