Megastar Amitabh Bachchan returns to the small screen with Season 10 of the much loved game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati tonight. The show that launched 18 years ago in 2000, immediately stuck a chord with audiences. Speaking of Kaun Banega Crorepati, the iconic host Amitabh, at the press conference of KBC 10, told the media that the show gives him the opportunity to connect with common people closely and this is why he returns to the show with the same enthusiasm every year. KBC 10 will be Sr Bachchan’s second outing of 2018 after a stellar performance in '102 Not Out'. As KBC 10 premiere is just a few hours to go, here's all you need to know about Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati.

# Starting September 3, Big B's Kaun Banega Crorepati 10 will air Monday-Friday at 9 pm on Sony TV. The show will be a 12-week series; it is reportedly going to be a 30-episode show.

# This season Kaun Banega Crorepati will be a little difficult compared to previous seasons. At the launch of KBC 10, the makers had revealed that they had made the auditions quite difficult for the contestants and had more rounds before the audition process, which helped them to pick only the best.

# The makers decided to make the 10th season a visual delight. Therefore, they have introduced 'augmented reality' in the new season, which will be premiered tonight. This technology will be used for the first time in an Indian reality show. For the uninitiated, 'augmented reality' is an enhanced version of the real physical world through the use of visual elements, sound or other sensory stimuli. Excited much to experience a real-time drama?

# Speaking of what's been retained will be the lifelines - 50:50, audience poll and jodidaar. Speaking of what's new, this season, the makers have introduced an additional lifeline - 'Ask the Expert'. When a contestant uses the lifeline 'Ask the Expert', he/she will be able to speak face to face with the experts through a video call, rather than just a call.

# As per its tagline #Kab Tak Rokoge, KBC 10 will celebrate the spirit of resilience in people this season. Also, unlike previous seasons, where every Friday, Amitabh welcomed a film star to play in his game show, the 10th season will have real-life heroes, who have brought about a positive change in the society. This Friday special episode has been titled 'KBC Karamveer'.
