Tiger Zinda Hai and so is Katrina Kaif’s Bollywood career. The 34-year-old beauty makes a roaring comeback as the box office queen with the release of the sequel of her 2012 film, Ek Tha Tiger. Katrina’s 2017 action-thriller (also, romantic) with Salman Khan, Tiger Zinda Hai has become the highest grossing movie of her career. With the domestic box office collection on day 12 reading Rs 280.62 crore, TZH surpassed Kat’s earlier biggest earning film, 2013’s Dhoom 3 opposite Aamir Khan. Tiger Zinda Hai box collection has not slowed down and is expected to easily enter the colossal 300-crore mark at the Indian box office. The film has already raked in Rs 423 crore worldwide in mere 10 days of its release.
Seeing the crazy business TZH, one person who will be biting his tongue is actor and Katrina’s ex-boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor. The actor was heard making boisterous claims about giving Katrina her biggest career hit with Jagga Jasoos (Ranbir was also a producer). However, upon release in 2017, it turned out to be a big commercial and critical disappointment. In contrast to Ranbir’s cocky attitude, Salman Khan proved to be Katrina Kaif’s best co-star with whom she reclaimed the box office throne.
The film is not just a commercial success for Katrina who reprised the role of a Pakistani ISI agent, Zoya.
