But Katrina's role was written out of the film due to the length. The two actresses came under the same roof only recently when Deepika got married to Ranveer Singh and Katrina, who by the time had also broken up with Ranbir, was attending the reception. Taling to a news portal about her decision to attend Deepika's wedding reception, Katrina said, "Life can get a little heavy at times and holding on to grudges makes the burden heavier. On the work front, Katrina will be next seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's directorial, Bharat. The movie pairs her opposite Salman Khan once again. The hit jodi had delivered a blockbuster like Tiger Zinda Hai last. "...this is Ali's best script so far and Kumud's character was just right for the person I am today. So, I grabbed the opportunity and immersed myself into the role. I had two months to prep and I used every minute of it.
