2018 is indeed a year to look forward to! The year has started with the magnanimous 'Padmaavat' and has a string of interesting films lined up through out the year. Amid the most talked about films like Dutt Biopic, Veere Di Wedding, Raazi, Thugs of Hindostan, Zero, PadMan, Pari and others, rests this cute little travel drama named 'Karwaan'. Now, why this film stands out from the rest is its unique cast consisting of dark comedy star Irrfan Khan, internet sensation Mithila Palkar and Malayalam heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan. The makers recently announced the release date of Karwaan which is June 1, 2018. The film revolves around a strangers who go on a fun filled trip.
Dulquer's Bollywood debut is a much awaited one especially after he gained massive fan-base across India through super- hits like 'Bangalore Days', 'Charlie', 'Solo'. The Girl In The City and Little Things star Mithila will be seen for the first time in a full- fledged Bollywood lead role. The other star is Irrfan Khan. Where do we even start talking about him? His performance in last two travel flicks, 'Piku' and 'Qarib Qarib Singlle' promise us that this one is going to be one memorable movie. Talking about Dulquer and Irrfan, Mithila earlier told HT, "These two are amazing. Being the superstars that they are, they are the easiest to work with. I learnt to be so attentive on this set because there was always so much to learn. There have been times when I had to remind myself that I’m not part of the scene as an audience."
