Imtiaz Ali is known for his quirky romantic films and so is Kartik Aaryan. The latter became a known face especially after his monologues in Pyaar Ka Punchnama series that got him a massive fan base. Now, the two are set to collaborate for a rom-com and that’s something all the filmy keedas out there should be excited for! Kartik is in demand by several filmmakers right now, after the success of his latest flick ‘Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety’.

A source told The Asian Age, "Kartik has just finished the shoot of Luka Chhupi and is also slated to shoot for the Hindi remake of Kirik Party/Kirrak Party (Kannada/Telugu). The final bound script of the film is taking some time in the making and the makers Dheeraj Wadhavan and Ajay Kapoor want the script of the Abhishek Jain directed film to be perfect before they lock in on the shooting dates. So, it has been delayed by a couple of months.”

Imtiaz is known to make critically acclaimed films like Socha Na Tha, Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal, Rockstar and the recent one produced by him, ‘Laila Majnu’. His collaboration with Kartik is sure to create fireworks for the audience has a special corner for the filmmaker when it comes to his romantic storytelling!
