The much-awaited film Student of the Year 2 which is also referred as SOTY2 is hitting the silver screens today (May 10). Tiger Shroff is the playing the male lead with debutantes Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday as the female leads. Helmed by Punit Malhotra, this film is a sequel to the 2012 released Student of the Year starring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. The film’s lead stars Ananya Panday, Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria were seen posing for the shutterbugs. It was recently learnt that Tiger suffered from a leg injury and hence he had to keep moving around with the help of a wheelchair. But yesterday at the screening the handsome hunk looked much better. The other B-town celebs who were seen in attendance are Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Khushi Kapoor with Ansh Duggal, Sohail Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Amrita Arora, Aayush Sharma, Karan Tacker, Krishna Shroff, and more. Before Student of the Year 2 could hit the big screens it had already become the talk of the town after its amazing posters, intriguing teaser and trailer, and peppy numbers were released. Moreover, Alia Bhatt’s special appearance with the "Hook Up Song" alongside Tiger Shroff was another add-on. We got to wait and watch how the audience and critics react after watching SOTY2.
