Slowly and steadily, Kartik Aaryan has turned into a bankable star with movies like Lukka Chupi and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. The fan-favourite cutie will next be seen in the comedy, Pati Patni Aur Woh. The movie is a remake of the hit 1978 film of the same name, which starred Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta. The actresses in the new film are Ananya Pandey (Student of the Year 2) and Bhumi Pednekar (Saand Ki Aankh). Today, Kartik took to his Instagram handle to announce that the first trailer of the upcoming film will be released on the internet on October 4, 2019. Kartik made the announcement with a very cute video in which he tries to describe his character in the film. Pati Patni Aur Woh will release on December 6, clashing with Arjun Kapoor's Panipat.

We are definitely excited to watch the trailer of Pati Patni Aur Woh. Firstly, of course, because of the terrific trio leading the film. Secondly, because we want to see how this dated plot idea will be presented in semblance with today's times. In other news, Kartik had been sporting a moustache for months now, thanks to his role in Pati Patni Aur Woh. But very recently, his co-star Ananya shaved off his moustache on national TV when the cast was promoting their film on Nach Baliye 9's grand finale. The episode will be aired tonight, but a clip of Ananya trimming off the beard has been posted by Kartik. Ananya called it the "best birthday gift" on her Instagram page.

Kartik has quite a few ambitious projects in the pipeline. He will be seen in Bhool Bhulaiya 2 with Kiara Advani. He will also be seen in Imtiaz Ali's next romantic film, rumoured to be titled Aaj Kal and Reverse. He has been paired opposite Sara Ali Khan in the film. Kartik will also start shooting for Karan Johar's Dostana 2 with Janhvi Kapoor.
