Even though the film has opened to mixed reviews, Ananya has won praises for her role as the chirpy Shreya in the film. Well, among her friends, actor Kartik Aaryan especially took to Instagram to share an adorable picture of the duo and a message congratulating Ananya for it. While this message itself was enough for fans to start asking questions about what's brewing, it was Ananya's response on the post that certainly raised some eyebrows. The SOTY2 star replied to Kartik's post saying, "Arey arey itna pyaar??! 😝 Thank uuuuu."This banter between the duo is being loved by their fans who are already rooting for the two to become a couple.

Rumours about their apparent relationship first set off after Ananya and Kartik were spotted on a movie outing together. Of course, ever since, the two actors have become much closer as friends considering they are all set to team up in the Pati Patni Aur Woh remake.
