Sonam Kapoor's marriage with Anand Ahuja attracted enough media attention as well as controversies. One of the biggest issues some people had with the wedding is how Sonam Kapoor immediately changed her name to Sonam Kapoor Ahuja after marriage. Apparently, these disgruntled trolls were of the opinion that since Sonam calls herself a feminist, then why was there a need to take her husband's surname? Nobody noticed that even Anand Ahuja changed his name to Anand S Ahuja after marriage.

During the audio success party of Veere Di Wedding, the topic of feminism and using husband's name was discussed. And Kareena Kapoor Khan had a very interesting answer to say. She told the media present that she is as much proud of being known as Saif Ali Khan's wife as much as her name, Kareena Kapoor.

The actress, however, refused to talk about what her husband thought about her hot avatar in the Tareefan song. Sonam was forthcoming, though, about Anand's reaction as she revealed he had labelled her appearance in the song as 'hot'!

Talking more about Veere Di Wedding, the movie is directed by Shashanka Ghosh of Khoobsurat fame and is produced by Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Nikhil Dwivedi. The movie has Kareena, Sonam, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania play lifelong friends, who come together for Kareena's character's wedding. The movie is scheduled to release on June 1, where it is clashing with Harshvardhan Kapoor's Bhavesh Joshi Superhero.
