Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar are reuniting on screen after a very long time for Dharma Productions' Good News. The movie also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani with them. The story is rumoured to be that of a couple that is facing issues with pregnancy and takes an alternative route. The star cast, the production house and the story make the movie appealing enough to make us want to buy tickets right away. But the eager fans have to hold their horses as the release of the movie has been delayed. Ouch. Who called it Good News?

Earlier in August, it was announced by producer Karan Johar that Good News will release on July 19, 2019. The movie went on floors with Kiara and Diljit on November 30, 2018. Kareena joined the second schedule of the movie. And as per latest reports, Akshay will join the third schedule at January end. Then Kareena and Akshay will move on to another schedule together, which will be the last for the film. With everything into place, seemingly, we wonder what made the makers change the release date of the film.

Karan and Akshay took to Twitter, earlier in the evening, and wrote, that the movie has been shifted to September 6. We are going to assume that the long wait is going to worth it.

Akshay will also be seen in Dharma Productions' Kesari this year, for which he has very recently wrapped up shooting. Kareena, too, has Dharma's Takht, for which she will start shooting this year. Not to forget Dharma's extra-delayed Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Drive is supposed to open on June 28.
