Kareena Kapoor Abused by Troll for Marrying A Muslim; Veere Di Wedding Co-Star Swara Bhasker Comes To Her Rescue

In the age of social media, everyone has got platforms to voice their opinions. However, there are some who use these opportunities to abuse and insult anyone and everyone. Celebs, especially from the film industry, are often at the receiving end of these abuses and barbs. Even they raise their voice against a horrific crime like rape, still these celebs gets abused by trolls with political agendas. But there have been instances when these stars have also given it back to the trolls. Take the recent case of Kareena Kapoor Khan and a troll who abused her for marrying a 'Muslim' Saif Ali Khan.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is thankfully not on social media, has often been a target of these religious trolls for marrying Saif and later for naming their son 'Taimur'. Recently Kareena had joined Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, Konkona Sen Sharma in a special campaign that had them post a picture with a placard that read - ""I am Hindustan. I am Ashamed. #JusticeForOurChild. 8 years old. Gangraped. Murdered. In 'Devi'-sthaan temple. #Kathua". This was, course in reference, to the brutal rape and murder of the 8-year old Asifa in Kathua.
Since Kareena doesn't own a social media handle, her Veere Di Wedding co-star Swara posted on her behalf,
But then there are idiots in this world who think this is the perfect excuse to abuse a lady for her personal choices. Like this Twitter user with the handle @W_harsh_, who wrote, "She should be ashamed of the fact that despite being a Hindu is married to a Muslim. Has a child with him and named him Taimur, after a brutal Islamic barbarian." Just in case you want to know how many have a similar filthy opinion like him, his tweet got 86 likes at the time of writing this story.
But the troll made a mistake; he wrote the reply to Swara's tweet, and as you know, Swara is not someone who takes things lying down. She hit back at the troll with a befitting, strong reply.
Way to go Swara! I am sure Kareena would be proud to have a friend like you who would come to her defence even when there is a risk of becoming a target of trolls yourself.
