As reported earlier, the wax statue of Indian filmmaker Karan Johar was unveiled yesterday at Madame Tussauds Singapore. Karan has become the first Indian director to have his own wax statue. Karan Johar was accompanied by his mother Hiroo Johar for the event. The director seemed excited to launch his wax figure who has been modelled in a selfie pose. Karan is known to strike the perfect selfie pose and pout and we bet you have seen him do it with his celebrity guests on his talk show, Koffee With Karan.

Over the years, the director has made his mark in Bollywood with his signature romantic and family-oriented dramas. From his Bollywood directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji to his last film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, Karan has entertained his audiences well. If his directorial contribution to Indian cinema is any less, Karan's production house Dharma Productions has for the longest time presented films across genres. Karan Johar Becomes the First Indian Filmmaker to get 'Waxed' at Madame Tussauds
