Karan Johar is known for his elite gestures and his mom Hiroo Johar's 75th birthday was nothing less of the same. Just like all of those Dharma movie parties, his mother's special day was full of glamour and love. What's more interesting was the string of celebs who came under the same roof to celebrate this occasion. Karan's bff Kajol, who recently patched up with the director, had a happy reunion with him at the party. Also, his other close friends Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor Khan. It was quite a K3G moment!
The others who attended the bash were Sidharth Malhotra, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Tanisha Mukerji and Manish Malhotra amongst others. The highlight of the party was the emotional performance by singer Sonu Nigam. The Kal Ho Naa Ho singer performed all the favourite tracks of Hiroo Johar.
Earlier, in a note written for his daughter, he wrote, "I was raised by a woman who had a strong mind...an independent mind and a solid soul...she taught me how to live a fearless life along with a strong sense of right and wrong! She also taught me the art of abandon! She made me the man I am....a man who is honoured to be raised by a woman of substance! Roohi my darling I hope I raise you to be just like your grandmother."
Karan Johar also shared the picture of the invite designed by the wedding squad. It was themed white and included a bouquet of white roses, a bottle of champagne. cake and chocolates. Calling her the 'centre of her universe', he shared a beautiful collage of their photographs together. You can also spot his adorable twins Yash and Roohi in the pics posted by the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director. Well, we like how the filmmaker always goes out of his way for his family!
