Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are two of the biggest acting names in our country. The Bollywood superstars shared screen space for the first time in Rakesh Roshan's 1995 hit film Karan Arjun. Both actors took the industry by storm with their memorable performances in the film. SRK and Salman played brothers in the film, and fans immediately fell in love with their incredible jodi. The movie also featured Rakhee Gulzar, Amrish Puri, Kajol and Mamta Kulkarni in key roles. The good news is that after almost 30 years of its release, the makers have decided to re-release the iconic Hindi film in the theatres. Hrithik Roshan on ‘Karan Arjun’ Re-Release; Actor Shares How His Father Rakesh Roshan Created the Iconic ‘Bhaag Arjun Bhaag’ Scene.

Mamta Kulkarni Praises Shah Rukh Khan Both as a Person and Actor

In an old interview with Lehren, Mamta Kulkarni was asked to share her thoughts about Shah Rukh Khan. Responding to it, the actress said, "Shah Rukh ke saath Maine kaam nahi kiya hai. Directly koi film nahi kiya hai. Karan Arjun mein Maine kaam kiya that, but I was with Salman." (I haven't worked with Shah Rukh much except for Karan Arjun. Even in that film, I was with Salman). Further shared that they worked on just 2 songs and a few scenes together; however, through her little experience with SRK, she found him very involved with his character.  She said, "He used to joke around in the set, but whenever it came to delivering a scene, SRK used to be very involved."

Further speaking about Shah Rukh Khan, Mamta Kulkarni said, "I've not observed him so deeply to say anything more about him. I think he is a very nice person basically, a very warm person." Is there anyone who would have anything negative to say about Bollywood's King Khan? This just shows that Shah Rukh Khan has remained passionate about his craft since his early days, making him who he is today.

Directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan, the movie also featured Johny Lever, Firoz Khan, Ranjeet, Aasif Sheikh and Jack Gaud in supporting roles. The movie was based on the themes of reincarnation and vengeance where two brothers who got separated due to a family dispute reunite and fight for justice in their next birth. The Bollywood superstar will be next seen in Sujoy Ghosh's action film King. In the movie, he will share screenspace with his daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abay Verma.
