Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi Gets Selected for BiFan 2019, Actress Coins It as 'Big Slap on Movie Mafia’s Face'
Kangana Ranaut's last film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has now entered the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.
Kangana Ranaut is at it again. The actress has probably decided to take jibe at every one in the industry who made it to the top easily according to her. Her last film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has now entered the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival. The film got selected along with Gully Boy, Andhadhun and Super Deluxe. However, while talking about this achievement, she made sure to take a dig at the 'movie mafia' and also Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt's Gully Boy. Kangana Ranaut's Sister Says Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are No Competiton for the Actress Because of THIS Reason.
Speaking with pinkvilla.com, she said," We are thrilled with this development, especially when Gully Boy was hailed by the entire industry and there was not a single word by anyone on Manikarnika. The movie mafia tried to kill this film but for Manikarnika to get commercial success and now international recognisation along with other celebrated films is a big slap on movie mafia’s face. You can't stop a good film especially in this time and age when the world is all one big family because of social media."
Well, one can simply read between the lines as to what Ms Ranaut had to say. Speaking of the festival, it is touted to be Asia's biggest film festival. Also known as BiFan 2019, it will be held in South Korea between June 27 and July 7. The film received mixed response from the critics and the audience. However, now that it has gone beyond the borders, it should be seen whether the guests at the fest will be impressed with the same or not!
