Rangoli Ranaut has found disgust in the latest post by Filmfare editor, Jitesh Pillai. Well, for the uninitiated, there are various Bollywood beauties who will be walking the Cannes Film Festival this year. Apart from the regulars namely Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut is returning to the red carpet. Meanwhile, debutant Hina Khan, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie, also attended the prestigious film festival to promote her film.
Sharing Hina's picture from the red carpet, the editor commented on whether Cannes has become Chandivali with a question mark. Rangoli was not pleased by his comment as she took a screenshot of the same to share her thoughts about it. She wrote, "Look at him, an actor has gone to a film festival purely cos of her hard work to present her film and here @jiteshpillaai Moushi ji humiliating her that too openly just cause she is an outsider, this is movie mafia and that’s why Kangana has pledged to destroy them."

However, perhaps her tweet brought about some need for justification in him as he took to Instagram to state that his comment was misconstrued. He wrote, "My apologies to Hina Khan. My Instaa caption has been grossly misconstrued. I would never belittle an artiste. Those who know me well enough will agree that I am inclusive and always appreciative of talent. My remark was meant to suggest that Cannes has become Bollywood centric. Studios like Chandivali, etc are the very studio that I have spent my time as a rookie reporter. I would never run down my wonder years spent in these studios. My sincere apologies to Hina again, I wish you continued success."
What do you think about this? Do you think Rangoli is right and the comment was actually targeted at Hina Khan from being a TV celebrity to turning up at the prestigious film festival? Well, she did go there to promote her upcoming film. Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
