Kangana Ranaut and controversies go hand-in-hand. We know how the actress likes to be a perfectionist when it comes to her movies. She may even interfere in her director's work and suggest changes that appeal to her. While some may consider it as a 'help' from the actress, others may take an offence and leave the project. Bareilly ki Barfi director, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari however, wants no such drama on her film's set. The talented director who's all set to collaborate with the Queen actress for her next film, Panga, is apparently determined to pull up a watertight no-interference contract for Kangana. Kangana Ranaut to Launch Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi Teaser on This Date.
We guess Ashiwini was sceptical after reading all the reports about Kangana taking the charge of her next project, Manikarnika - Queen of Jhansi. According to a report in BollywoodLife, the makers of the project weren't satisfied with what Krish (original director) did with the film. His vision was completely different than theirs. Director Krish also had other projects so when he learned about his producers' dissatisfaction, he was willing to quit it. Later Kangana decided to step in and complete the remaining patchwork of the film. Manikarnika Controversy: Ankita Lokhande Calls Kangana Ranaut Captain, Even If Sonu Sood Cries Competence Issue!
However, Ashwini wants to take no chance with her project and signing a contract is the solution thought by her. We don't know if these reports are even true. We contacted the actress for a confirmation and are waiting to hear it from her.
When Kangana in her recent interaction was asked to comment on her role as a Kabaddi player in Panga, she had said, “When Ashwiny narrated the story of Panga, I was completely moved. My family has been my pillar of strength and have always stood by me in thick and thin. I could really relate to the emotions of the film. Plus, Ashwiny is known for her slice-of-life films and I loved her recent work Bareilly Ki Barfi. Panga is doubly special for me as for the first time, I will play the role of a National-level Kabbadi player. That’s going to be challenging for sure! I am looking forward to some exciting times with Ashwiny and the Fox Star team.”
