Kangana Ranaut: We Should Adopt More; Humans Do Not Need Fertility Clinics
Kangana Ranaut opens up about her plans on getting married and having kids.
When it comes to Kangana Ranaut, you can trust her blindfolded that she will deliver the performance of a lifetime in her movies and also that she will speak her mind. Filters are damned. The actress in on a promotional spree for her upcoming film Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi, which looks like a promising watch from the trailers. Her latest pit stop was an interview with Rajeev Masand in which she spoke candidly about everything. From feeling let down by her contemporaries for not praising her to taking up directorial duties in Manikarnika unwillingly. And also about fertility clinics and adoption.
December 2017 to December 2018 was one full year of weddings, weddings and more weddings. Rajeev quizzed Kangana about her plans to get married. She said when she is not in love she is thinking rationally and has no plans to get married. She added, "When I am not in love, I feel there are so many children in the world, and all of them are ours, and we should adopt more,"
"I also appreciate couples who consciously decide to not have children. My guru says that if we were tigers and if we were any other species, we'd need fertility clinics. But, we, humans do not need fertility clinics. This is only when I there is no one in my life," she added.
"I have underestimated that love and involvement. But after having my nephew, because he’s like a son to me, I can say that there’s no difference to having a dog or having a human baby. It just depends on how big is your ego… that you want a piece of yourself," she concluded.
Well, quite a few Bollywood celebs have opted for fertility clinics when it comes to having a baby. Shah Rukh Khan's son AbRam, Tusshar Kapoor's son Laksshya, Farah Khan's triplets and Karan Johar's twins, Yash and Roohi, to name a few. We hope this remark by Kangana was not a jibe at these Bollywood celebrities.
