Kangana Ranaut's next release is the Ekta Kapoor produced, Mental Hai Kya. The movie's release date was announced by the makers to be July 26, which meant the movie will clash with Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30. After two years worth of controversies surrounding their names, it was tough to imagine Hrithik and Kangana releasing their films on the same day. Of course, publications carried the report, which was supposed to be taken with a pinch of salt, maybe. But today, Hrithik announced that he will be changing the release date of Super 30 once again, to save his film being desecrated by 'media circus', he said. He even said he wants to save himself from the "from the personal trauma and toxic mental violence this would cause". Now, Kangana has revealed in a statement that it was pre-planned by Ekta and Hrithik that he'd be shifting his movie's release date.

As per reports, Kangana said, "Hrithik Roshan, Madhu Mentena and Ekta Kapoor had collectively decided that Hrithik would push Super 30’s release date and Ekta will bring her film Mental Hai Kya on 26th July, they had taken this call last week itself," Twitterati Find Rangoli Chandel's Posts on Hrithik Roshan Offensive, Ask Mumbai Police to Take Action Against Kangana's Sister.

The actress further added, "I don’t know why he wrote this sob story but I am glad Mental Hai Kya is getting a solo release. I salute my producer Ekta Kapoor for making her way in this male-dominated industry, it's not easy to do what she does... I applaud her courage and power.”

Well, even we wonder if this was all pre-planned and a joint decision by the makers of the two film, what exactly is either of the parties gaining by this 'media circus'. Reliance had earlier tweeted that they won't be changing the release date of Super 30. So, what about that tweet if the decision made in advance was to shift it? If the media could get some clarity on very obvious questions, we'd be happy to put the circus behind us.
