Bollywood celebs have been reacting to the Anti-CAA protests in various ways. The celebs who were earlier shy to even address the situation, are gradually coming out with their opinions on the violence projected by Delhi Police against the students of Jamia Millia Islamia University. The latest one to join the bandwagon is Kangana Ranaut. Ina recent social media post, she slammed the use of violence while protesting and damaging public property. She stated that only ‘3-4% of the population pays taxes.’ This statement was received backlash by Delhi's deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia. In her statement to on Twitter, the Queen star said, “When you protest, the first thing that's imp is that you don't turn violent. In our population, only 3-4% ppl pay tax, others are actually dependent on them. So, who gives you the right to burn buses, trains & to create ruckus in the country?”

This was not well-taken by Sisodia who hit back with through his tweet. He wrote, “Even daily labourers pay indirect taxes when he buys something cheap like salt. They even pay taxes when they went to watch movies and are responsible for the income of actors."

The actress will be next seen Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Panga. The trailer of the film just dropped where she plays a Kabaddi player. It is slated to release on January 24, 2020. She will also be seen in Jayalalithaa biopic titled as Thalaivi.
