Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao’s Mental Hai Kya Gets a Release Date and It’s 22nd February 2019

Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao are prepping up for their next, Mental Hai Kya. The first look and posters of the film have already sparked a lot of interest for the film. Ekta Kapoor now announced the release date of the film with a quirky, fun video on Instagram. Kangana and Rajkummar are seen in a retro avatar, where she is wearing a gown and he is wearing a suit while flaunting a thin moustache. The two start bickering and calling each other mental before they announce that the movie will hit the screens on 22nd February 2019.

Both Kangana and Rajkummar are at their goofy best in the movie and all the glimpse that we have got of the movie so far. Speaking about the plot of the film, Kangana had earlier told a tabloid, "You’re never sure if this girl is hallucinating or what’s happening to her is for real, whether the guy (Rajkummar) is trying to trap her or she’s got him wrong." Ekta Kapoor had also revealed that the film celebrates beauty in imperfections. The posters had both the actors giving goofy expressions. One even had them posing with knives and it gave a very serial killer vibe.

Kangana and Rajkummar were last seen in Queen. Kangana also revealed to the tabloid that she is trying to ensure that he doesn't steal the limelight from her since he is such a brilliant actor. She said, "He is a star today while still being a brilliant actor, so I will have to be on my toes to ensure he doesn’t steal the show from right under my nose." What are your thoughts on this?
