Kalki Koechlin, who was last seen in the web series Sacred Games 2, has confirmed that she is pregnant! She is expecting her first child with Israel-based boyfriend Guy Hershberg. Kalki shared these details in an interview to HT Brunch. It was earlier this month when Kalki stunned her fans by sharing a picture on social media and announced that she is in a relationship. Before dating Guy Hershberg, Kalki Koechlin was married to filmmaker Anurag Kashyap (who also directed the Netflix’s series Sacred Games 2). Kalki and Anurag tied the knot in April 2011 in November 2013 the two issued a joint statement mentioning that they are parting ways. In May 2015 the couple filed for divorce. Although the two have parted ways, they have maintained cordial relations.

During the interview with HT Brunch Kalki Koechlin also revealed that she is five months pregnant. She also stated that she would go for a natural water birth. Kalki reveals that she plans to head to Goa by end of 2019 for her delivery, where there is a local naturalist birth centre. Talking about what name the couple has chosen for the child, Kalki states, “I’ve chosen a name that works for either gender and that is representative of a gay person, because I want my child to have that freedom of movement under the many umbrellas of gender that we have.” Heartiest congratulations to Kalki Koechlin and Guy Hershberg!
